Teen Driver Education

Under 18 years 

A student must be 14 years and 9 months of age to begin taking driver education. To obtain a learner's permit the student must be 15 years of age. Each class consists of 32 hours of instruction. Please review of policies regarding attendance.

Adult Permit Class:

Our 6-hour adult driver education course covers the Texas Drivers Handbook including road signs and road rules. The class ensures that you will pass the permit test. According to state law you must pass an exam over the Texas Driver Handbook in order to receive a driving permit before being eligible to taking the driving test with a State Trooper at the DPS.

According to State Law, the Adult Permit Class is required for adults ages 18-25 in order to obtain a Texas Driver's License.

Adult Driving (ages 18+)

Student over the age of 18 qualifies to take our adult driving lessons. An individual must obtain an instruction permit from the Texas Department of Public Safety. To get the permit the student must take a test over the road rules and road signs.

We pick up and take home students in almost all the Houston areas. There are no set numbers of lessons in this course - every individual is different. The instructor will evaluate you on the first lesson and tell you how many lessons you may need. Someone who has never driven before will take at least 8-10 hours to get ready for the driving test. The student will take as many or as few as needed to pass the driving test and become a safe driver. There is no obligation to take any number of lessons. The lesson begins when the student takes the wheel.

Defensive Driving

Defensive Driving Classes are offered every other Saturday from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. Six hours in-class instructions are required for full credit. The completion certificate is required for ticket dismissal or vehicle insurance discount of 10%. Contact us for more information.  

Drug & Alcohol Driving Awareness Program
All Ages Driving School is proud to announce the offering of the Drug & Alcohol Driving Awareness Program, which is good for an additional 5 % vehicle insurance discount. The course is of 6 hours and is open for everyone to participate. Please feel free to call us for more information.
